The Lansing Symphony Orchestra is searching for a Development Director to head its fundraising campaign. This person will manage a team in planning annual programs, events and benefits. If you possess a deep passion for the arts and skill in commanding charitable efforts, the leader in Mid-Michigan orchestral music may be looking for you.

In addition to the previous requirements, the Development Director is also responsible for making grant applications to federal, state, and local government agencies that provide arts funding; and researching and applying to private foundations and corporations that provide arts grants. The Development Director will recommend fund-raising policies and procedures to the Executive Director and Board with the goal of building a year-round development program that demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
