AdidasIn honor of the 25th anniversary of its Forum basketball shoe, Adidas has selected Puffer Red’s in Ypsilanti as one of four stores across the country to unveil a special version of the shoe, reports the Ann Arbor News. The special promo and unveiling happens this Saturday from 3 -7 pm. In addition to live entertainment and giveaways, Chauncey Billups will also be on hand to celebrate the Puffer Reds Limited Edition Adidas Forum.

Along with unveiling the shoe, Puffer Red’s is also linked to the design of the new Forum:

“Rayvon Williams, the 18-year-old son of Puffer Red’s owner Eric Williams, designed the special edition shoe, which will be sold nationally.

Williams is a student at Lansing Community College, but will be starting at the Fashion Careers College in San Diego next year, after winning a scholarship in a fashion design contest. The shoe, which retails for $110, features the Puffer Red’s logo and bright, primary colors.”
