SMART Gets Smart with Google Trip Planner

Looking for an easy way to plan a bus trip in Southeast Michigan? Look no further than SMART. The website of the regional transit system recently added the Google Transit Trip Planner to its repertoire of free services.
Southeast Michigan is one of 25 areas nationally that offers the mass transit-helper. It is the only bus service in Michigan to do so.
The Google Transit Trip Planner allows riders to enter the specifics of their trip - origin and destination addresses, and arrival or departure times - and then uses public transit schedules on Google to determine the most efficient itinerary.
