Thinking of starting a small business? You’ve got a lot of work ahead of you. Thankfully, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel - if you’re thinking about attempting something new, chances are good that someone else has already tried it. And their experience is probably documented somewhere.
Sure, looking for resources designed to help you open a small business can become a job in itself. But lucky for you, help abounds. This handy small business guide, courtesy of Senator Carl Levin, is an excellent example of the types of free resources that are floating around out there.
Featuring a plethora of useful small business websites covering everything from doing business in Michigan to local and national business law, this guide is one tool that potential and established entrepreneurs will definitely appreciate. Other areas of interest in the guide include small business administration, research and development, and resources for minorities.
